North Shore - Changing of the Seasons - October 4th, 2014

As Fall weather fast approaches, photography enters a new chapter of the year. The lighting and expanse of colors allow for extraordinary photographs. While blustery weather may be a hindrance to some, it provides new subject matter and backdrops. I decided to take a slightly different route than usual, starting at the end of Liberty Avenue then going by the river next to the convention center, across the Andy Warhol Bridge to the Alcoa building and back across the bridge to the convention center fountains. This route allowed me to catch the breaking sunlight and practicing geese at the most opportune time. The one and only white goose made an appearance along the Allegheny as well. The combined use of a wide angle lens and a telephoto lens made for a dynamic range of photographs during the two day long cold snap.
