During the Pirates regular season, world famous Zambelli Fireworks with its roots in Italy and its headquarters in New Castle, PA puts on a display on a select Saturday of each month. The company has produced shows around the world for large events and monuments and local residents are lucky enough to see their displays on a constant basis. The Skyblast displays originate right by PNC Park at the sister bridges along the Allegheny River, making Point of View Park on Mount Washington an ideal vantage point. This Particular display occurred on August 9th, 2014 after a 2-1 loss to the San Diego Padres.
