Pittsburgh's unique topography allows for alot of stunning views of the city. Some of the best locations to take in these views are rarely visited, like the Robert Williams Reservoir in the Hill District. Providing an almost 360 degree view of the surrounding area (Downtown, North Side, East Liberty, Shadyside, Bloomfield, Oakland, Polish Hill and the Hill District) the reservoir provides an unparalleled view of the city while allowing you to do so in solitude. While up there I was able to see Children's Hospital, West Penn Hospital, the East Liberty Target, churches and homes throughout East Liberty and Bloomfield, Allegheny General Hospital on the North Side, the Cathedral of Learning, Downtown and various hillside neighborhoods. I stumbles upon this location online trying to find a new and unique view of the city and the trip produced some of the best images I have taken of Pittsburgh to date.
